‘AM Joy’ Host Mocks Mar-a-Lago Health Dept. Cases After Trump’s Baltimore Attack

Donald Trump likes to attack people — young people, old people, people of color, white people, and especially women. Perhaps, this issue with his mother had something to do with his attitude. When he was three-years-old, his mother went to the hospital to have his brother. There were complications, and she spent much of that year behind the door to her bedroom.

MSNBC’s AM Joy host Joy Reid was talking about Trump’s description of Baltimore, Maryland on her Sunday morning show, and she recalled that the president was living in a vermin-infested building, called the White House. She also reminded people watching her show about Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s southern White House. It was surprising given the president’s germaphobic history that Mar-a-Lago has long battled infestations, too. Many of them have led to health department violations, which in turn, led to sanctions.

Reid read from The Los Angeles Times report:

‘”Rust, mold and parasites. Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago cited for 78 health violations in the last three years,’ um …. yeah. So Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago is full of parasites, it’s infested.’

Reid then cut to what Trump is trying to do with his attacks on Baltimore and people of color, too:

‘His people think white people are so racist that the way to get them to vote is be racist. These are the people who lost their minds because Hillary Clinton referred to them as deplorable. They voted for a guy who believes they are deplorable and believes they are so bigoted that he can play this role of political opioid.’
